VACUUM INDUSTRIES, SERIES 3600, MODEL 3630, 30 TON HOT EJECTION VACUUM HOT PRESS WITH AN INDUCTION HEATED 10" ID X 12" TALL GRAPHITE HOT ZONE
The system is configured with a cryotrapped diffusion pump stack, and has two independent 2.5" rams which stroke 12" through a water-cooled die support plate. The system is a slightly smaller version of the Vacuum Industries- Series 3600, Model 4236- 30 ton Hot Ejection Vacuum Hot Press furnace and shares the use of the 35 KW - 9,600 HZ solid state induction power supply noted above.

Instrumentation includes, two optical pyrometers, and both tungsten-rhenium and platinum-rhodium thermocouples for measuring temperatures to 3,500°C. The system is easily capable of operations at low to mid 10-5 Torr vacuum levels using all tungsten, rhenium, molybdenum, or graphite susceptors.
