VACUUM INDUSTRIES SERIES 3600, MODEL 5236, 120 TON VACUUM HOT PRESS FURNACE WITH A 35"W X 34"D X 33"H TUNGSTEN ELEMENT GRAPHITE HOT ZONE
The system is capable of temperatures above 2,000°C in vacuum conditions of 10-5 Torr or better as achieved with a cryotrapped VHS-6 diffusion pump. The system has demonstrated MIL-SPEC temperature uniformity of better than: +/-10°F up to 1,230°C maximum as demonstrated by full quarterly survey testing in accordance with AMS 2750 for an effective hot zone sized at 26"W x 26"D x 22"H. The system includes gas manifolding and controls to run partial pressures of hydrogen or any desired inert or other compatible gas at pressures up to atmospheric pressure.

For diffusion bonding purposes, a hydraulic loading ram assembly is capable of dynamic loads of up to 120 tons. The system routinely runs production loads of up to 60,000 LBF using 5-inch OD graphite ram tooling.
