VACUUM INDUSTRIES, SYSTEM-7 HIGH VACUUM FURNACE
VACUUM INDUSTRIES, SYSTEM-7 HIGH VACUUM FURNACE
This small horizontal "front-loading" furnace has a tungsten element graphite hot zone with an effective size of 8"W x 8"H x 14"D and is capable of temperatures in excess of 1900°C, at low 10-6 Torr running with a cryotrapped Varian VHS-6 diffusion pump stack.

The system includes instrumentation and recording in full compliance with all app1icable AMS / M1L-SPECS, limited to use below 1230°C.

The vacuum pumping system also includes a high partial pressure control system for transition to the use of hydrogen / inert gas at pressures near atmospheric during the high temperature part of the cycle, as may be needed for high vapor pressure braze alloys (IE: Ag, Cd, Sn, or Zn bearing silver solders).
